SEDA is The Modular Data Layer For Web3

SEDA, the modular data layer for Web3, has made significant strides in accomplishing critical tasks in preparation for the mainnet launch. February marked the successful implementation of the SEDA code freeze and the integration of the genesis validators, laying a solid foundation for the network’s infrastructure. Additionally, an audit of the SEDA network has commenced, led by the reputable security firm Trail Of Bits. The increasing momentum in network development is set to continue throughout March as SEDA ticks off the final tasks before mainnet.

Audit Results

Trail of Bits continues to battle-test SEDA’s modular data layer, with results expected later in the month. Upon receiving the initial report, the SEDA engineering team will look to amend any network issues leading toward the token migration alongside Wormhole. The audit with Trail of Bits will focus on critical network infrastructure and review the codebase and flow for the FLX to SEDA token migration via Wormhole’s guardian network.

FLX to SEDA MIgration Internal Testing

In parallel with the audit, the engineering team at SEDA will conduct exhaustive internal tests. This involves migrating FLX tokens from Ethereum to the SEDA network, facilitated by smart contracts and an intuitive user interface. The testing phase encompasses the entire end-to-end process, ensuring a seamless experience for token holders to execute their migration on the mainnet.

30 New Validators

SEDA is preparing to integrate approximately 100 professional validators into its network at the time of the mainnet launch. In early March, SEDA plans to announce an additional group of up to 30 validators as they successfully connect to the network. By connecting a high number of professional validators, SEDA can launch with a high standard of decentralization. The more nodes validate a network, the wider the spread of control, resulting in an improved degree of decentralization.

SEDA Mini-Series Continued…

After a one-week hiatus due to EthDenver, The SEDA Mini-Series returns in March. Leading guest speakers include Flow, Celestia, Amberdata, and a new special guest to be announced. Topics for discussion will touch on Web3 mass adoption, modularity, data provision, and OEV fair value distribution. To get up to date on the SEDA Mini-Series, check out the series blog and follow SEDA on X.

New Partners Welcomed To The Network

SEDA’s pre-mainnet traction is rippling throughout the industry as the network receives new interest from Web3 developers. As SEDA races towards mainnet, projects building on top of SEDA will continue to be announced, touching on various project types and highlighting the versatility of SEDA’s modular data layer.
