SEDA Rapidly Honing In On Mainnet
In the lead up to Mainnet, the SEDA engineering team is 95–99% complete in preparation for the code freeze. The audit has been scheduled with the final date to be announced. It will take around 3 weeks and then the SEDA team will have a period of review and implementation.
A governance vote for network inflation is coming. The proposal will be submitted to the network and participants can take place by voting. For more information you can reach the team in Discord. As a reminder the 12 month deadline is fast approaching for those aiming to upgrade FLX to SEDA prior to April.
Parallel to audits and inflation proposals, the SEDA engineer team has begun to onboard the first set of professional validators to operate Overlay Nodes. Upon onboarding, audit, and inflation proposal completion, the final step is to upgrade to a working testnet, which will be monitored and tested for several weeks before mainnet v1.0.
SEDA’s Flagship Oracle Modules For Verification, Soon To Unveil.
SEDA Verification Modules are hyper-specialized frameworks that allow any existing interoperability provider to prove a state on any chain. As Interop enters its 3.0 era, where cross-chain actions powered by Chain Abstraction are set to experience unprecedented growth, SEDA modules offer a dedicated solution for interop verification. In the last three SEDA articles, we explored how interoperability architecture has begun to modularize, opening up new markets in which verification is included. Unveiling this quarter, SEDA verification modules represent a first-of-its-kind off-the-shelf solution for hyper-scalable and secure verification for any route across all VMs.
